With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Lou Chandler in Carlsbad, New Mexico, born in Abilene, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 28, 2025 at the age of 92. Though Anna Lou has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Jones and Fronis Jones. She is survived by: her husband Sanford Chandler; her daughter Sherri Chandler; her close friend Kay Doss; her son Dudley Chandler (Debbie); her granddaughters, Courtney Horton (Derek), Cegourney and Kelly Stoffle; her great grandchild Cadance of Midland, Texas; and her brother Glenn Jones of Odessa, Texas. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (112 N Alameda St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
