It is with sadness that the passing of Annalee Thayer Azzinaro (Carlsbad, New Mexico) is shared. Annalee, born on December 12, 1936, passed away on October 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter E. Thayer and Annabelle Jones Thayer; her husband Sam; her son Sammy Azzinaro; and her siblings, Mary Lou Otts and Walter "Sonny" Thayer.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Azzinaro (Jennett) and David Azzinaro (Melissa); her grandchildren, Whitney Azzinaro, Courtney Azzinaro, Jeff Young, Lyndon Abernathy, Aubrey Azzinaro, Loren Abernathy, Gemma Priddy (Jonathan Priddy), Hannah Azzinaro Cruz (Alex Cruz), Kaylee Azzinaro and Luke Azzinaro; and her great grandchildren, Sydney Azzinaro, Ryan Young, Logan Young, Remy Young, Tobias Priddy, Elijah Cruz and Emelia Cruz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Carlsbad First Assembly (1502 W Mermod St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Lakeview Christian Home Hospice in honor of Annalee.
