With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Benito Carrasco Holguin of Carlsbad, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 19, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolfo Holguin and Francisca Holguin (Mama Kika); and his siblings, Senorina Mendoza, Junior Holguin and Jimmy Holguin.
He is survived by: his children, Benny Holguin Jr. "Little Benny" (Merle), Annabel Holguin "Bel" and Rudolfo Holguin "Rudy"; his grandchildren, Malia Elise Moore, Desmond Samuel Moore, Sabrina Holguin, Selena Holguin and Marina Holguin; and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Christina Davila, Desmond Holguin Davila, Sean Benny Anderson, Paris Christina Anderson and Melanie Roux Amaranto.
Benny was especially proud of his contribution to the development of the Bradley tank, a vehicle known for its unique ability to float.
