He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio "Charlie" Granger and Carmen Magee; his stepfather Chris Magee; his brother Alonzo Lara; and his nephews, Richard Granger Jr. and Antonio Ray Martinez.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stacy DeHaven (George) and Victoria Escalante (Juan); his grandchildren, Alexander DeHaven, Gabrielle DeHaven, Juaquin Escalante and Leonardo Escalante; and his siblings, Richard Granger, Antonio Granger, Fred Granger, Steven Magee, Sally Esquibel, Dorothy Hanttula, Lisa Sanchez and Patsy Granger.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Denton Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
