It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bubba Briones of Carlsbad, New Mexico, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Manuel, JoAnn Briones, Dale, Sr. and Phyllis Vickrey. He is survived by: his parents, Ann Harrelson (Carl) and Tim Briones (Lupe); his close friend Jill Stanley; his children, Weldon Briones (Madi Hutchison), Brodee Hedgecock and Brooklyn Cantwell; his siblings, Tim Briones Jr., Kristle Parraz, Onetia Rios (Kenneth), Regina Briones, Jerry Wagner, Fabian Navarrette (Vickie), Krissy Navarrette and Prissy Rodriguez (Alan); and his siblings' children, Cody, Tayler, Zoe, Bryson, Kamrien, Kamille, Kaliyah, Kaleb, Kinsley, Jacelyn, Jaylee, Vincent, Aalijah, Masyn, Noah, Benny and Nikolai. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Oasis Church (802 S Main St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
