It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bubba Briones of Carlsbad, New Mexico, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Manuel, JoAnn Briones, Dale, Sr. and Phyllis Vickrey. He is survived by: his parents, Ann Harrelson (Carl) and Tim Briones (Lupe); his close friend Jill Stanley; his children, Weldon Briones (Madi Hutchison), Brodee Hedgecock and Brooklyn Cantwell; his siblings, Tim Briones Jr., Kristle Parraz, Onetia Rios (Kenneth), Regina Briones, Jerry Wagner, Fabian Navarrette (Vickie), Krissy Navarrette and Prissy Rodriguez (Alan); and his nieces and nephews, Cody, Tayler, Zoe, Bryson, Kamrien, Kamille, Kaliyah, Kaleb, Kinsley, Jacelyn, Jaylee, Vincent, Aalijah, Masyn, Noah, Benny and Nikolai. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
