It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E. Vanzant (Carlsbad, New Mexico), who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vanzant and Pinky Vanzant; and his siblings, James W. Vanzant, Cleo Baxter, Eugene Vanzant, Paul Vanzant and Ruth Joslin.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Vanzant; his children, Christina Brunner (Richard), Jeannie Vanzant Miller (Douglas) and David A. Vanzant (Jo Dee); his grandchildren, Kimberley Low (Nick), Dylan Vanzant (Emily), Paighton Vanzant and Morgan Vanzant; and his great grandchild Zaylee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
