Charles E. Vanzant Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E. Vanzant (Carlsbad, New Mexico), who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vanzant and Pinky Vanzant; and his siblings, James W. Vanzant, Cleo Baxter, Eugene Vanzant, Paul Vanzant and Ruth Joslin.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Vanzant; his children, Christina Brunner (Richard), Jeannie Vanzant Miller (Douglas) and David A. Vanzant (Jo Dee); his grandchildren, Kimberley Low (Nick), Dylan Vanzant (Emily), Paighton Vanzant and Morgan Vanzant; and his great grandchild Zaylee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Carlsbad Cemetery (1506 Boyd Dr, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
