He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Villalpando and Reyes Dorado; and his siblings, Mary Dorado of Carlsbad, Joe Munoz of Bakersfield, Frank Dorado of Austin, Felix Dorado of Carlsbad, Able Munoz of Bakersfield, Reyes Dorado of Carlsbad and Frances Samora of Albuquerque.
He is survived by: his wife Amelia Ernestina Flores Dorado; his children, Felicia Hinojosa of Albuquerque, Marissa Dorado of Carlsbad, Daniel Dorado Jr. of San Antonio and Edward Flores of California; and his siblings, Sammy Dorado of Carlsbad, Barney Dorado of Carlsbad, Johnny Dorado of Carlsbad, Antonio Munoz of San Antonio, Victoria Macias of Carlsbad and Veronica Hernandez. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
