It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Ortiz Hernandez (Carlsbad, New Mexico), who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Porfirio S. Hernandez. He is survived by : his mother Trinidad Hernandez (Ortiz); his wife Carmen Castillo Hernandez; his children, Christopher Castillo Hernandez (Shanna Fierro) and Sarah Marie Ceniceros; his son-in-law Manuel of Las Cruces, NM; his grandchildren, Micaela, Analicia, Aubrey, Addison, David Lucas and Alexis; and his siblings, Virginia Valenzuela (Rudy), Ricardo Hernandez (Grace), Margarita Buendia (Manuel), Teresa Hernandez, Christina H. Acosta (Fernando), Alicia Quintela (Jimmy) and Elizabeth Franco (Cesar).
