With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Winters of Carlsbad, New Mexico, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on June 8, 2025 at the age of 66, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Winters and Jackie R. Winters (McElroy); his brother Dale Winters; his parents-in-law, Doc Smithers and Mildred Smithers; and his pets, Juice and Rhino.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Winters; his sons, Chance Winters, Chase Winters (Amber) and Jeremy Dowdy; his brothers, Don Winters (Renae) and Rick Madrid; his nieces, Lori (Kelly) and Lisa (Matt); and his grandchildren, Morgan (Seth), Hannah, Gunner, Daisy, Laci and Colton Winters. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Denton Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
