With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dick Arthur Blenden (Carlsbad, New Mexico), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dick Arthur left this world on July 23, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Elton Blenden and Ruth Elizabeth Blenden; his siblings, Harry Easton Blenden, Sue Thornton and James Platter Blenden; his nephew Kenneth Blenden; and his grandsons, J. T. Shelton and Brandon Blenden.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Beth "Betty" Blenden; his children, Phil Blenden of Carlsbad, NM, Sandi Blenden of Hollywood, CA and Robin Shelton of Tacoma, WA; and his stepchildren, Wendy Humphrey of Lubbock, TX, Johnse Humphrey, Ben Etcheverry of Deming, NM and Tai Pettigrew of Tatum, NM. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
