He is survived by: his children, Charles Sumner of Carlsbad and Barbara (Conner Oden); his grandchildren, Imagene Tweedy, Emily Grady, Kylie Grady, Connor Grady and Dillon Reese; and his great grandchild Lorelai Mobley of Carlsbad. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
