He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Brown and Jewel Brown (Charles); his wife Nancy Brown; and his siblings, Donald Brown, Shirley Todd and Winnie Hand.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Chidester of Carlsbad and Mark D. Brown of Newman, CA. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the West Funeral Home Chapel (401 N Guadalupe St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
