It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Neurauter Calderon (Carlsbad, New Mexico), who passed away on June 3, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roderico "Roddy" Neurauter, Sr. and Gravielita Neurauter (Lujan); her daughter Marinda "Mandy" Calderon; and her siblings, David, Bobby, Roderico Neurauter, Jr., Celina Renteria, Gloria Ramirez and Zella Emiliano.

She is survived by: her children, Marty Calderon of Carlsbad, NM, Marvin Calderon of Carlsbad, NM, Michael Calderon of Carlsbad, NM, Sheila N. Calderon of Carlsbad and Cynthia Madril (Maddy); and her grandchildren, Chaz, Raymundo, Porscha, Marvin, Brianna, Roddy, Ashley Calderon and Cheyenne Calderon-Vera. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and extended family.

The church is requiring that guests attending the service, wear a mask and practice social distancing due to COVID-19.
