He is survived by: his grandchildren, Rudy Martinez, Alex Martinez, Angel Martinez, Geraldine Martinez and Angelica Martinez; his great grandchildren, Felix Martinez, Rudy Martinez, Jace Deanda, Haiden Martinez, Alina Lopez, Liam Lopez, Verona Martinez, Amari Martinez, Azalea Martinez, Natasha Martinez, Jacob Benkowitsch, Anthony Benkowitsch, Anton Jr. Benkowitsch, Ava Benkowitsch, Gracelyn Benkowitsch, Jace Benkowitsch, Memphis Benkowitsch, Cash Benkowitsch, River Benkowitsch and Zach Townsend; his great great grandchild Atlas Grey; and his siblings, Tommy Methola, Betty Huerta (Jimmy), Ricky Methola (Sally), Louie Methola, Billy Methola, George Methola, Ray Methola (Josie) and Ysidro Methola. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the San Jose Catholic Church.
