She was predeceased by: her parents, Evaristo Soto and Ventura López Soto (López); her husband Victorio Ruiz; her children, Filomena Ruiz, Ofelia Ruiz, Isaías Ruiz, Teresa Ruiz, Porfiria Ruiz and Asunción Ruiz; her granddaughters, Luz Elena Gaspar and Leticia R. Delgado; and her siblings, Pablo Soto, Rafaela Castro, Felicitas Ruvalcaba, Román Soto and Agustina Esparza.
She is survived by: her children, Refugio Gaspar (Refugio), Raquel Delgado (José Santos) and Antonio Ruiz (Terry); and her brother José Soto. She is also survived by 41 grandchildren, 92 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren.
