He is survived by: his children, Shaun Banister (Tylar), Amber Burkett (Sawyer) and Chloe Grace Banister; his grandchildren, Caleb Banister, Lilah Banister, Bristol Banister, Brooks Banister and Suede Burkett; and his siblings, Cynthia Langenegger (John), Melvin Banister (Tricia) and Diana Banister (Lloyd Barella). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
