She was predeceased by: her parents, Octaviano La and Isabel De La (Dominguez); her husband Juan Villa; and her children, Sammy Villa and Sarah Villa.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra; her son-in-law Tim Castillo of Kansas City, MO; her daughter Sonya Villa of Carlsbad, NM; her sisters, Lucy Gomez of Santa Ana, CA and Virginia Saiz of Lubbock, TX; and her grandchildren, Candace Sisneros, Robin Sisneros, Andrew Castillo, Esteban Castillo, Vanessa Madrid, Hyleen Hernandez and RJ Hernandez. She is also survived by her eight great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many other dear family and friends.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 25th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the San Jose Roman Catholic Church (1002 Debaca St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Thursday, June 25th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Carlsbad Cemetery (1506 Boyd Dr, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A reception will be held on Thursday, June 25th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the San Jose Parish Hall.
