He was predeceased by: his father James W. Tomblin, Sr.; and his sister-in-law Jessica Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Liz Tomblin; his sons, James Henry Tomblin and Cody Lane Tomblin; his mother Fonda Lou Johnson (Larry); his stepmother Lorraine Kay Tomblin; and his siblings, Jennifer Fletcher (Eric), Larry Wayne Johnson, Shelli Lou Armstrong (Kelly), Jessica Lynn Ewing (Douglas) and Jacob Lee Tomblin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1708 N Mesa, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
