He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan S. Sr. Gomez and Rafaela Gomez (Florez); his wife Manuela Soto Gomez; his siblings, Maria Brerrospe, Irene Hernandez, Lola Ortega, Margarita Franco and Benselado Gomez; and his son-in-law Alvaro Carnero.
He is survived by: his children, Christina Carnero, Carolyn Gomez, Daniel Gomez, JohnMichael Gomez and Anna Beason; his grandchildren, Isaac Moralez, Christopher Carnero (Ashley), Hannah and Alexander Beason; his siblings, Belma Martinez, Elva Gomez and Joe Gomez; Kinsley and Yazmin Carnero.
