With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Wayne Heard (Carlsbad, New Mexico), who passed away on November 1, 2025 at the age of 45. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Paul Dale, Jane Dale (William C Heard Sr.) and Fayma L Heard; and his brother Robert J Heard. He is survived by: his mother Susan Coleman (Vernon'Shotgun'Coleman); his wife Kelly Heard; his children, Robert Heard, Chance Petty (Taylor), Preston Petty (Maria), Kobie Jojla (Savannah) and Gena Vanatta (Chris); his grandchildren, Kylynn Vanatta, Jaxon Vanatta, Ryder Petty, Dutton Petty, Paisley Morrison and Kashlynn Jojla; his brother-in-law JD Sowers; his father Charles William Heard Jr. (Heidi Heard); his siblings, Billy Heard, Mikki Goldstein (Gary Goldstein) and Maria Beck (Ryan Mika); his mother-in-law Debbie Watson (Curt); and his cousins, John Coleman (Stephanie), Shane Coleman, Daniel Elmore (Danielle), Kevin Dale and Kurtis Dale. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Assembly of God Church (2107 W Church St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
