We bid farewell to Laurie Joe Kincaid (Carlsbad, New Mexico), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 3, 2026 at the age of 84. Laurie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Laurie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Laurie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel Kincaid and Lucille Kincaid (Cox); and his grandsons, Shane Kincaid and EJ Kincaid. He is survived by: his wife Nina Kincaid; his daughter Robin Kincaid; his great grandchild Sam Bam Barnes; and his siblings, Frieda Powers (Mike) and Jack Kincaid (Jo). He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
