She is survived by: her children, Rodney Chavez of Carlsbad and Megan Hernandez of Portland, OR; her mother Maria Orona; and her siblings, Gina Subia of Carlsbad, NM, Pete (Sarah Subia) and Zolene Voigt Knott of Carlsbad, NM. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
