She was predeceased by: her parents, Luiz S. Armendariz and Bernarda Armendariz (Vasquez); her husband Atanacio Lopez, Sr.; her sons, Danny and Richard Lopez; and her sisters, Erma Carrasco and Delia Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Ruiz (Tony), Guadalupe Lopez (Helen), Sylvia Carrillo (Margarito), Celia Lujan (Tom), Atanacio Lopez, Jr. (Gail), Jaime Lopez and Christy Archibeque (Max); and her siblings, Adolfo Armendariz, Ruben Armendariz, Luiz Armendariz, Jr., Carmen Martinez, Sulema Gomez and Emma Gonzalez. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
A prayer was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Denton Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
