She is survived by: her children, Sal Mendoza (Cynthia), Anna Mendoza (Lorenzo Ruiz) and Chris Mendoza (Ruby); her grandchildren, Johnny Mendoza, Danielle Garcia, Dominique Mendoza, Dion Bradshaw, Marissa Mendoza, Aaron Mendoza, Zyglali Mendoza and Rhianna Mendoza; her great grandchildren, Zayden, Joseph, Kinlynn, Khelani, Michael, Marcos, Isabella and D. J.; and her siblings, Mario Hernandez, Jorge Hernandez and Maggie Hernandez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
