He was predeceased by: his parents, Marciano Mireles and Isidora Acosta Mireles; his wife Yolanda Carrasco Ortiz; his son Orlando; and his brother Ruben Mireles Sr..
He is survived by: his nephew Donnie; his sister Rita Martinez; his children, Martha Mireles Soto (Steven) and Steve "Billy" Mireles (Thelma); his grandchildren, Rumika Rodriguez (Chris), Keanu Soto (Sonia), Jacob Mireles (Alexis Montenjano), Emily Parraz (Dakota Owens) and Stefan Mireles (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Makaio, Kailani Rodriguez, Sophia Soto, Olivia Armendarez, Zayla Mireles and Windsor Owens. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the San Jose Catholic Church (1002 Debaca St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
