We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2024, at the age of 88, Marilyn Virginia Bratcher of Carlsbad, New Mexico, born in Lake Arthur, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles H. Foster and Ada Foster (Price); her husband James C. Bratcher (Pete); her son James C. Bratcher, Jr.; her siblings, Charles Foster and Joyce Houghtling; and her granddaughter Mandy Bratcher.

She is survived by : her children, David Bratcher (Angela) of Artesia, Jack Bratcher (Sue) of Farmington, NM, John Bratcher of Artesia, Earl Bratcher of Artesia and Susan Robinson of Hobbs, NM; and her sister Kay Windham of Roswell, NM. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
