It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martin Delgado in Carlsbad, New Mexico, who passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Amada Hernandez Delgado; his wife Luz Estela Lujan; his parent Encarnacion Arteaga Delgado; and his brother Daniel Arteaga Delgado. He is survived by: his children, Adrian Dominguez Lujan, Katya Delgado, Ruben Delgado and Amada Melisa Lujan Delgado; and his grandchildren, Ezekiel Collins Delgado, Josue Collins Delgado, Annatalia Collins Delgado, Nayeli Collins Delgado, Yaretzi Lopez and Yamileth Lopez. He is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A vigil service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (302 S 4th St, Loving, NM 88256).
