Maxine Slusher Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2025, at the age of 64, Maxine Slusher in Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Slusher and Ruby Slusher (Hargis); and her sister Pamela Boston. She is survived by: her sons, James Slusher and Rudy Richardson; her grandchildren, Dallas Balderrama, Julianna Caldwell, James Slusher, Jr., Isabell Slusher and Damian Slusher; her great grandchildren, Ryker Balderrama, Nevaeh Balderrama and Oliver Caldwell; her siblings, Marlene Bynum (Stan), Donna Cline and Kelly Christesson; and her nephew William Boston. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
