Mildred leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mildred’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parent Charlie; her sisters, Linda Jean Whittington, Lisa Carroll Whittington Evans and Charlotte Suzanne Whittington; and her half-sister Nancy Harrell.
She is survived by: her daughter Paula Elizabeth Whittington; her sister Charlene Allen (Donald); her half-sister Brenda Miller (Dean) of Wilkes Co; her nieces and nephews, Rebecca Sharp (Brandon), Andrew Allen, Robert Cobb (April) and Heather Stratton (Dylan); and her pet Henry. She is also survived by several cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of friends.
