It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Whittemore (Carlsbad, New Mexico), who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Connie Mahaffey and Robert Mahaffey Sr.; and her siblings, Robert "Bobby" Mahaffey Jr. and Paula Mulloy. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Cole, Cade, Eli, Nora, Annie Craig, Roman, Andre Stegall and Stephen Whittemore; her husband Garry Whittemore; her children, Lacy Craig (Adam) and Stacy Stegall; her stepson Rusty Whittemore (Claudia); her sibling's children, Abbey Keating (family: Brooke Claybrook), Landry Mulloy and Dustyn Young; and her brothers-in-law, Waymon Whittemore and Randy Whittemore.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Denton-Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Blodgett Street Baptist Church (1500 W Blodgett St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
