Remigio Olivas Venegas Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Remigio Olivas Venegas (Carlsbad, New Mexico), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2026 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his wife Susana Venegas; his son Juan Antonio Venegas; his grandson Eugene "Joey" Montez; his parents, Refugio Venegas and Theodora Venegas; and his brothers, Ray, Alberto and Juan De La Cruz "Juanito".

He is survived by: his children, Abelina Venegas (Arturo Vasquez), Ricardo Venegas and Israel Venegas (Tammy Garcia); and his siblings, Emma Gonzales (Ramon), Maria Del Rufio, Carlos Venegas, Elpidio Venegas and Atilano Venegas (Yolanda). He is also survived by 13 grandkids; 14 great-grandkids, several nieces and nephews.
