It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Angel Ortega of Carlsbad, New Mexico, who passed away on March 29, 2023, at the age of 15, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Jeronica S. Garcia and Robert B. Ortega; his siblings, Jerisya Rodriguez, Jayla Ortega, Romulus Garcia and Reemaus Garcia; his grandparents, Abbie Cordova, Ofelia Ortega, Edward Ruiz, Victor Garcia and Ben Ortega; his girlfriend Hazel Renteria; and also Christine Renteria. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
