He is survived by: his wife Elodia Chavez; his daughters, Valerie Varela (Aaron Acosta) and Veronica Alvarez; his grandchildren, Melanie Navarrette (Daniel), Justin Sing (Kaitlyn), Jasmine Sing, Lorenzo Varela, Sonny Sing (Vashti) and Shauntelle Varela; his great grandchildren, Mariana, Audriana, Sierra, Jade, Braelynn, Tucker and Brooklynn; and his siblings, Maggie Marquez, Joe Chavez, Linda Florez, Marivel Galindo, Roy Chavez and Martha Quinonez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
