As Rudy departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Rudy may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Rudy leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his nephew Mauricio Israel Yslas. He is survived by: his parents, Jesus Yanez and Matilde Lujan; his wife Karen Jurado; his son Axel Yanez; and his siblings, Reydecel Yanez, Keven Yanez, Arinda Yanez and Mittzy Yanez.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (205 N Guadalupe St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
