He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Anaya and Antonia Anaya; his former wife Carman Anaya; and his sisters, Inez Navarette, Lorenza Duran, Manuela Franco, Geneva Rodriguez and Juanita Carnero.
He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Anaya; his children, Ralph Anaya (Misty), Salvador Jr. Anaya (Gina), Jonny Joe Munoz, Stephanie Rodriguez (Michael) and Antoinette Munoz (Eric Florez); his grandchildren, Ryan, Kristopher, Kari, Karsyn, Austin, Gavyn, Gaje, Alexis, Kimberley, Tristen and Ezykiel; and his siblings, Alvaro "Bobby", Mario, Edward and Oralia Anaya. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A vigil service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Oasis Church (802 S Main St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
