He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardith Nyrkkanen and Frank Gabriel Nyrkkanen; and his brothers, Charles Nyrkkanen and Andrew Olson. He is survived by: his children, Samantha Rogers (Hunter), Kendra Nyrkkanen of Midland, TX, Katelynn Nyrkkanen (Jonathon Reynolds), Scott Nyrkkanen (Amanda), Christian Salcido of Carlsbad, NM and Chloe Salcido of Carlsbad, NM; the mother of his children Lissa Nyrkkanen O'Daniel of Carlsbad, NM; and his siblings, Frank Nyrkkanen (Bridah), Mike Nyrkkanen (Jo Ellen), Sandy Pruitt of Carlsbad, NM and Nancy Hartman (Alan). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
