She was predeceased by: her parents, Elauterio Lara and Petra Lara (Lopez); her siblings, Antonio Lara, Manuel Lara, Pablo Lara, Santiago Lara, Juanita Rocha and Josefina Contreras; and her son Juan A. Venegas.
She is survived by: her husband Remigio O. Venegas; her children, Abelina Venegas (Arturo Vasquez), Israel Venegas (Tammy Garcia) and Ricardo Venegas (Vanessa Ruiz-Venegas); and her brothers, Victor Lara and Nino Lara. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
