The memory of Rosemary Gallegos of Carrizozo, New Mexico, who passed away on September 1, 2025 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pioquento Marquez, Sr. and Elvira Lucero; her husband Frank Gallegos, Sr.; and her siblings, Jesse Marquez and Debra Ortiz.

She is survived by: her children, Frank Gallegos, Jr. of Las Cruces, NM, Jessie Gallegos (Erica Lueras) and Julie; her son-in-law Richard Thornton of Bernalillo, NM; her grandchildren, Jassamyn Thornton, Antonia Marshall, Namhi Gallegos, Joseph Gallegos and Macario Gallegos; and her siblings, Thomas Lucero, Ray Marquez, Pioquento Marquez, Jr. and Hope Marquez. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, God children, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters and brothers-in-laws and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers or monetary donations, the family requests donations be made to St. Rita Catholic Church in Carrizozo, NM.
