He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Byrl R. Lindsay and Irene "Dean" Zumwalt; his wife Margo Duncan; his children, Gary Lindsay (Gretchen), Jodi and JW Lindsay (Leslie); his grandchildren, JessiJo, Blythe and Brenda Straley (G. L. Straley); his children, Katherine, Matthew (Rachel), Misty and George IV; his grandchildren, Dylan, Caden, Brooklynn and Todd Lindsay (Shelley); his child Tawney Sippy (Lance); his grandchildren, Luke and Tye; his great grandchild Wyatt (Claire); his grandchildren, Julianna, Luchesse, Wacey and Daryl Lindsay (April); his children, Emilee, Aubree, Mike Shivers, Rick Richardson, Randy Dross, Jerry Lovelace and Marc McKinley; and his siblings, Preston Lindsay and Ronda Stuteville Taylor. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a vast circle of friends who were touched by his kindness.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to these special charities in honor of their grand-daughter, Katherine Straley: Make a Wish, Ronald McDonald's House or St. Jude's Hospital.
