It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fidel Fabian Lopez of Chamisal, New Mexico, born in Ojo Sarco, New Mexico, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fidel Lopez and Aguida Lopez (Leyba); and his siblings, Nick Lopez, Ruth Montoya, Lydia Sanchez, Bennie Macarenas, Alden Lopez, Dennis Lopez and Percina Arellano.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine Apodaca Lopez; his children, Kelvin Lopez, Mary Lou (Federico Sanchez), Fabian (Lori Lopez) and Antoinette (Adrian Gonzales); his grandchildren, Athena, Chantel, Chenoa, Anja, Mary, Adrian II and Alexander; his great grandchildren, Delilah, Ares, Reyes, Scarlet Rae, Xavier and Neveah; Becky Garcia.
