He was predeceased by: his wife Marquita Martinez; his parents, Teresita Martinez and Esquipula Martinez; his in-laws, Plajeres and Onofre; his sons, Leroy, Escolastico, Jerry and Ricky Martinez; his grandchildren, April, Shaun, Derrick, Anthony and Jerome Martinez; his brothers, Floyd (Celina), Carlos, Raymond (Concha) and Horacio Martinez; his son-in-law Johnny Trujillo; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Salazar.
He is survived by: his daughters, Orlinda (Rocky), Lorraine Martinez (Ronnie) and Darlene Trujillo; his sister Ida Salazar; his grandchildren, Rosie (Alex), Joseph, Mandy, Natalie, Nicole, Isaac, Andres, Esmer (Desirae), Ricky, Lawrence and Jeranda; his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Amara, Brandon, Angelina, Jaira, Jayden, Adan, Juana, Osvaldo, Shaun Jr., Christin, Alisha, Derrick Jr. and Ryann; and his pet Blue. He is also survived by three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and dear friends.
A rosary will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (1440 Private Drive, NM-76 #10, Chimayo, NM 87522). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
