It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarice Arlene Baker Mayfield of Clayton, New Mexico, who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Mort Baker and Wilma Baker; her husband Jim Mayfield; her siblings, Weston Baker, Lavanna Bailey and Merle Wiley; and her daughter Lorri Ann Mayfield Montoya.

She is survived by : her children, Marty Mayfield (Holly) of Raton, NM and Valeetah Mayfield (Steve Spencer) of Plainview; her son-in-law Lorenzo Montoya; and her grandchildren, Matthew Mayfield, Wesley (Gracie Mayfield), Michael (Michelle Gard), Bradley (Krista Gard), Jeremy (Sarah Howard), Andrew (Taylor Howard), Benjamin, Andres Montoya, Zachary (Lindsey Butt) and Christine (Aaron Price).
