He is survived by: his children, Brant Akin (Christine) of Dalhart, Phillip Akin (Terry) of Bushland, Texas. and Janina Akin (David Davila); his grandchildren, Shelly Heizer (Mark), Alex Akin (Tiffany) and Zac Akin; his great grandchildren, Anita Weyer, Alica Weyer, Ben Weyer, Braxton Akin and Ryker Akin; and his great great grandchildren, Lindsey of Texas, Hazel Lindsey and Jagger Lindsey.
