It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine May Mayhan of Clayton, New Mexico, born in Mullinville, Kansas, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James Beckett and Josie Beckett (Marshall); her husband Carl Henry Mayhan; and her children, Steven Wayne Mayhan, Ronnie Duane Mayhan and Debra Lynn Mayhan.

She is survived by : her daughter Fran Berry (Nelson) of Texhoma; and her grandchildren, Sabra Farabee of Houston, Wayne Yates of Texhoma, Troy Yates of Bayfield, Robert "Bobby" Mayhan of Clayton, Preston Webb of Seiling and Melissa Miller (Kevin) of Bethany. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
