He was predeceased by: his parents, Sabino Marquez and Sidia Marquez (Salazar); his spouse Lou Marquez (Green); and his son Michael Marquez. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Thomas (Danny) of Dalhart, Regina Rice Reynolds (Marvin) of Amarillo and Randy Marquez (Brenda Thaxtin); his siblings, Nancy and Pete Marquez; and his grandchildren, James Lee Lockhart, Devin Ray Lockhart, Alison Marquez, Ashley Marquez and Aston Wayne Marquez. He is also survived by 8 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN And numerous nieces and nephews.
