We bid farewell to Max Geary of Clayton, New Mexico, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 26, 2025 at the age of 81. Max touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Geary and Lola Geary; and his in-laws, John C. and Irene E. Bennett. He is survived by: his sons, Shawn Scott Geary (Patti) of Coweta and Heath Geary (April) of Clayton; his grandchildren, Jaci Geary of Broken Arrow, Molli Barbosa (Daniel) of Coweta, Kassie Geary of Amarillo, Koy Geary of Portales and Keegan Geary of Las Cruces; his great grandchildren, Liam, Lola Barbosa of Coweta and Everliegh Villegas of Las Cruces; and his sister-in-law Judy Schroeder of Sparta, Missouri..
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Clayton Methodist Church (120 N 5th St, Clayton, NM 88415).
MEMORIALS: The family asks that donations be made in Max's memory to the Laurance Daniel Scholarship Fund at Busey Bank in Clayton.
