He was predeceased by : his mother Margaret Smith Hall; his wife Florence P. Hall; his father Elbert Hall; and his siblings, Twila Hall, Florence Hall Molgaard, Winston and Anthony Hall.

He is survived by : his brother Jimmy Hall (Wanna) of Clayton; his children, Shane Hall (Melanie) of Roswell, NM, Tony Hall of La Junta, CO and Micah Regan (Kevin) of Austin, TX; and his grandchildren, Cade Hall, Cooper Hall, Blake Ramsey, Dray Hall, Jerni Hall, Kraigan Hall, Avery Regan and Riley Regan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, please contribute to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, Cal Farley's Boy's Ranch or the Herzstein Memorial Museum in Clayton or a charity of your choice.

“So sorry for your loss, just know there are many of us who are sharing this loss of a wonderful, well-respected man. Completely loved and respected Walter. He was of the few men who could actually intimidate me (in a good way), Walter didn't use a lot of words but when he did, you knew that you were going to learn something, so you better listen up.
