She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Drayton and Robert Mayfield Sr.; her children, Dwayne Warren Luedon "Sonny" Smith and Ellen Hancock; and her siblings, Leroy Mayfield, Robert Mayfield, Arthur Mayfield, Beatrice Mayfield, Erma Robinson, Odessa Mayfield and Rebecca Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Sherman Stenson; her children, Larry "Warren" Stenson of Tulsa, Virdell Stenson of Clovis, NM, Sonja Large (Cesar Solis) of Clovis, NM and Mary Ruth Brown of Houston, TX; and her grandchildren, Shameka, Tammy, Natalie, Gar, Bridget, Corry, Neice, Debra, Janice, Ruby, Eugene, Kevin, Otis, Taye, Tyrese, Earl, Dalano, Alexis, Burgundy, Ashley, Johnny, Michael, Shantea, Kimyatta, Jadyn, Earlie, Cordell (Shannon), Perry and Tavia Hancock.
