He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Downing and Bessie Downing (Woods); his wife Theresa May Downing (Fleming); his children, Wayne Downing, Sherry Gingery (Robert) and Diana Lancaster; and his grandson Jordan Downing. He was also cherished by many loving grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
