It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Madrid (Clovis, New Mexico), who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Martinez and Ursula Martinez; her sons, Johnny Joe Martinez and Mario E. Cabrera; and her siblings, Steven Garcia, John Martinez, Vincent Martinez, Mary Santos, Frances Reynolds, Helen Ceja and Grace Chacon.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Kytle (Paul), Javier Martinez, Amelia Cabrera, Vincent Cabrera (Sandra), Patricia Jimenez (Arthur), Diana Martinez (Milfred), Elizabeth Jimenez (Manuel) and Lydia Lucio (Ruben); and her brother Luis Martinez. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
